What Do YOU Know About Reaching For The Moon?

You asked me a fair question. I reached for My Moon the first time in 1990 when I left the recruiting firm I worked for – and started my own recruiting firm with a very different model. I work with one company at a time – and charge a flat monthly fee. This model provided me with the opportunity to recruit and consult with my client company.

More recently, a month ago, I literally reached for the Moon! I applied to be one of the 8 passengers on the SpaceX Starship flight that was purchased by the Japanese billionaire, Yusaku Maezawa, to fly around the Moon and return to earth 3 days later. I want to see the earth rise over the Moon. If I can reach for the Moon twice in my life, you can reach for YOUR Moon now.

How Do I Reach For My Moon?

Your first step is to identify what company represents Your Moon. What position do you want to stretch for? Isn’t my reach to be among the first civilians to fly around the moon, a stretch? Of course it is. If I do not stretch for it, I am guaranteed not to reach the Moon. I visualize myself on the Starship. It is the ride of my life! I hitchhiked 15,000 miles in college over 2.5 years. On this trip, I would hitchhike a ride on Starship and reach my second 15,000 miles in about an hour. How exciting!

Go for YOUR Goal! You have control of your destiny. If you only network with 4 contacts per day, you will find a new position in 90 days. Simply have a conversation with 2 new people in the morning and 2 new people in the afternoon. The metrics show you will find your Moon in 90 days. Aren’t those 4 calls daily worth the effort?
