Corridor Business Journal Resigning Responsibly June 2021
This Blog was one of 104 consecutive weeks of my #JobSearch #Friday Blogs that the Corridor Business Journal chose to print for its audience in June 2021. During that time, the people of the United States and the World were scratching their ways out of the effects of Covid-19.
During Covid-19, I coached 32 professionals from March 15, 2020 to December 31, 2020 to find new positions and accept offers. As I coached these professionals, it was clear that most professionals do not understand that there is a process to follow in a Career Search.
Interestingly, the first Blog that the Corridor Business Journal picked to run was the one on Resigning Responsibly. This is the second to last step of my recent book, EXPECT SUCCESS! The Science Of The Over 50 Career Search. The last step is Outstanding Onboarding. Once a person lands a new job, it is important to learn how to grow in that position, be promoted, and receive a higher income for themselves and their families.
As a Talent Attraction Consultant for 40+ years and Career Coach for 26+ years, my experience is very unique. I sit on both sides of the desk at different times. Therefore, I provide my readers with an inside look at what is happening during their search. I know what different HR and Manager phrases mean – and translate them for my readers and the professionals I coach.
When my book was reviewed by Joe Wisinski in the Readers’ Favorite: Book Reviews and Award Contest, my book was a rare book that received a 5 STAR Review. The Science Of The Over 50 Career Search at discerning Independent Bookstores nationwide and of course at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.
